The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently announced that UL GREENGUARD Certification is now included in the EPA’s Recommendations of Specifications, Standards, and Ecolabels for US federal government procurement. These recommendations are the result of a multi-year stakeholder process, jointly led by the EPA and General Services Administration (GSA), and are designed to put a more formal and rigorous process around identifying standards and certifications that comply with the federal government’s sustainable purchasing requirements.
